About Umma Kitchen Midtown Atlanta
Well-Being with Affordable, Healthy Korean Foods and Poke Bowl. Where every bite Feels Like Home FOOD.
Umma Kitchen Midtown Atlanta is a korean restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia. It is listed at 931 Monroe Dr NE A101, Atlanta, GA 30308, which places it among the local businesses of Atlanta that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Atlanta, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Georgia run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (404) 875-0800. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is ummakitchen.us, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 5.0 out of 5 on Google across 567 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded korean restaurants in Atlanta.
Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Atlanta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Recently tried this place for the first time and it was amazing. Cute space and they have a great selection of korean snacks and drinks. Excellent customer service and the food was INCREDIBLE. I expected this to be more of a quick-serve experience but our food was actually cooked while we waited and everything was delicious!

I had the BBQ pork rib rice bowl with glass noodles at Umma Kitchen in Midtown Atlanta, and it was absolutely amazing. The portion was very generous, and the pork ribs had an incredible, strong smoky flavor. I honestly donβt know how they get that kind of smoky BBQ flavor cooking indoors! The ribs were flavorful and delicious, and everything in the bowl worked really well together. This is probably one of the best dishes Iβve had in years. Iβll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

ON THE TJ TOUR Started at TJMax, where I always spend too much money. Navigated through Home Depot parking lot (not on the tour) and down some mulberry steps (seriously slick with freshly fallen mulberries)and (no I didnβt fall but I left footprints for 50 feet). Hit Trader Joeβs because itβs TJ and then Ummaβs Kitchen. Ummaβs Kitchen has serious charm. Got the spicy Chicken bibimbap. It was amazing and I had to take it home with me. I also got dukbokki (sp?). You can order at your table, but new I walked right up to the counter. Great service and patient. I would recommend to come more than once, absolutely. Outside seating on a beautiful day. I just wish I had one near me. Thank you for a great lunch which I will also enjoy later. :)

This was my first time visiting, and I wasnβt sure what to expect. Ordering was very easy, either through the kiosk at the front or by ordering from the table. The protein honey oats tasted amazing, and it was easy to see how much effort and love the owner puts into his business. There are plenty of options for people with different diets. The owner was very kind and truly made me feel welcome. The place is clean, pretty, and comfortable. ββ Came here again for the second time, and I had to come back. I had such a great experience during my first visit that returning felt natural. I usually donβt leave reviews, but I genuinely wanted to this time. Everyone was extremely kind, and I felt welcomed again. I can tell the owner is truly passionate about his business, and it shows in the care he puts into the menu and the ordering system. I canβt wait to see this place grow even further.
